Philodendron 'selloum' is a tropical plant that you see in so many landscapes here in South Florida.  It is a true staple of the OG SoFla landscape of back in the day and they continue to be a gorgeous tropical assest.   The 'selloum' philodendron grows to be about 6-7 ft high and can get to be about 8-9 ft wide as it continues to grow along a main central lead producing roots along the way to help support its weight.  Philodendrons are great climbers and can attach themselves to grow on a wall and tree/palm trunk for a spectacular display. 
 
Though be aware for all you pet owners and parents to check whether any plant has poisonous elements to it before introducing it as a house plant.
