New to our nursery is the sought after tropical succulent, callisia repens ‘pink panther’.  This  super-duper-uber cutie can be grown either as a hanging basket or in a pot.  Not sure how it would do in the ground, though I'm guessing it would creep along as a ground cover like moss.  Don't let 'pink panther's dainty structure and light violet color fool you for being a delicate plant.  'Pink panther' is a champ growing in full south Florida sun.  We have ours growing in full sun for about half the day until the sun moves south then they get very bright indirect light.  Certainly not a shade plant which is why it's a perfect hanging basket for a patio, porch or window area.
 
Like all tropical succulent plants, callisia repens grow in warm high humidity, well drained soil and full sun to bright light.  Please try your best to under water callisia repens 'pink panther', they will grow much better with drier to moistish conditions than wet soil.
 
Though be aware for all you pet owners and parents to check whether any plant has poisonous elements to it before introducing it as a house plant.
